Swinging Into Greatness.

On the green, beyond the game, driving down the fairway where dreams take flight.

Welcome to My World of Golf, Where Athleticism Meets Precision, and Passion Intersects With Leadership.

Hi, I'm Jack Helmke. Embarking on the green fairways is not merely a pastime for me; it is a way of life. In the pursuit of excellence, I have honed my skills on the golf course, mastering the art and science of every swing. The fairway is my canvas, and each stroke is a brushstroke that tells the tale of my dedication to the game.

I aspire to join a college golf program that aligns with my values of academic excellence, a strong team dynamic, and a coaching philosophy that nurtures both skill development and leadership qualities. I am excited about the prospect of contributing my best to the team, both as a player and as a positive influence within the group. In golf, as in life, every stroke counts, and I thrive on the camaraderie that comes from working together toward a common goal.

ABOUT

My approach to competition is marked by tenacity, particularly as a match player where I demonstrate the ability to grind out victories through determination and strategic play. Academically, I maintain a high standard as an "A" student, reflecting my dedication to excellence beyond the golf course. I also enjoy playing guitar as a hobby and in my school’s classical guitar ensemble.

I'm a team player. I love the individual nature of golf, but I really love being part of a team. I played middle school team golf, and varsity high school team golf. I love the pressure and satisfaction of helping my team.

I love to compete. In classes, camps, skills challenges, and almost anything, I really enjoy competition, and I do my best when things get tough.

DON LAW GOLF ACADEMY

I have been a part of the Don Law Golf Academy since I was 5 years old and in the last three years I have gotten to make great connections with the coaches and other players.

The coaches have always referred to me as a very coachable student who listens and is able to completely absorb all the information being given. This makes me a very trainable student and when I don’t fully understand or haven’t gotten a certain mechanic of my swing down, coaches will often see me on the range or putting green working on what is needed most.

My Game

My game is well-rounded, featuring power and finesse. My driver swing speed is 113 mph, and I hit my 7-iron 180 yard carry. I'm a great bunker player, and my short game and putting allows me to save par from various positions.
